A Bit About Me
Justin Metiva moved to Festus in 2011 when he began his position of Youth Pastor at GNCC. He was called into ministry at the age of 15 but wasn't really sure what to do with it. The Lord prompted him again in 2007 but it wasn't until he was challenged by a high school student that he actually followed his call into ministry. Justin spent 9 years as our Youth Pastor and is now currently serving as Lead Pastor at the Festus Campus. He and his wife, Hattie, have been married since 2000. They have 4 amazing miracles, Eli, Nora, Ally, and Finley. In his spare time he enjoys playing golf, reading, spending time with his family, and working on construction projects. He also loves the game of baseball.

A Bit About Me
Rachel has been the Children’s Pastor at Good News Community Church since July 2016. She was a NICU nurse before that. God placed a calling on her life in early 2016 to change her career course and she was excited to follow. She is motivated by her love for Christ and her desire to instill and grow the love of Christ in the children at GNCC. She graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 2003 with a BSN and is currently working towards her ordination in The Wesleyan Church. She and her husband, Nick, have been married since 2003 and have two beautiful daughters, Isabella and Carly. They enjoy traveling, camping, and love to do anything that is outdoors. The Rowden family is also always up for a family game night.

A Bit About Me
Hi, I’m Ben! I stepped into the role of Youth Pastor at Good News in 2025 after spending several years in the business world. God stirred a deep passion in me to invest in the next generation, and I’m thankful every day to walk alongside students as they grow in their faith.
I have my BA in Business and I’m currently working toward ministry licensing through Kingswood University. I love seeing students discover who they are in Christ. My wife, Laura, and I have been married since 2006, and we have two incredible daughters, Presley and Emma. We love being outdoors, swimming, and spending time together as a family. I enjoy playing basketball, golf, fantasy football, and lifting weights.

A Bit About Me
Samantha has been part of our church since 2016 and participated in the process of our church plant in Ste. Genevieve. Her passion for the Lord and Youth Ministry led to her being hired in July 2020 as our Youth Pastor. She then accepted the position of Ste. Gen Campus Pastor in July of 2021. Now as of 2025, she is the Associate Pastor at Good News. She is currently attending Oklahoma Wesleyan University in pursuit of her ordination. Samantha and her husband Bruce have been married since 2007 and have 4 amazing children. They love playing cards as a family and are huge movie lovers! Any chance they get to travel and see the world, they take it! “God has created such a beautiful place for us. Between creation and His children, we love encountering it all!"
